Apple has officially rolled out the macOS Sonoma 14.3 update, marking a significant milestone after completing the beta testing phase. This release follows the previous macOS Sonoma 14.2, which made its debut on December 11, followed by a bug-fix-focused update, macOS Sonoma 14.2.1, on December 19.
While macOS Sonoma 14.3 doesn’t introduce major feature changes, it emphasizes improvements beneath the surface, focusing on performance enhancements, bug fixes, and essential security updates. The build number for this release is 23D56, taking over from macOS 14.2.1 with the build number 23C71.

Noteworthy features include the return of the collaborative playlist feature for Apple Music, which had appeared in earlier betas before being temporarily withdrawn. Users can now enjoy creating collaborative playlists and express their reactions to tracks using emojis. Additionally, Apple has updated the AppleCare & Warranty section in the General System Settings to display coverage for all devices linked to your Apple ID.
To access the macOS Sonoma 14.3 update, navigate to the System Settings app, choose General, and then select Software Update. If the update is available, click on “Update Now” and follow the on-screen instructions to enhance your Mac’s performance and security.
