Apple bringing a dedicated Password app to all devices like iPhone, iPad and mac. This new Password will comes with upcoming major updates of iOS 18, macOS 15 and iPadOS 18. upto now Apple uses iCloud Keychain for storing users Password and autofills in the login forms.
Now as per Bloomberg report new Password will be replaced with iCloud Keychain service. Apple users now easily store their device and website passwords in dedicated Password app.

” The app features a list of user logins and splits details into different categories, such as accounts, Wi-Fi networks and Passkeys, an Apple-promoted password replacement that relies on Face ID and Touch ID. Like most password managers, the data can be auto-filled into websites and apps when a user goes to log in. “
” The software will also work on the Vision Pro headset and Windows computers. And it can support verification codes and serve as an authentication app similar to Google Authenticator.”
World most popular event Apple’s WWDC24 is set for June 10. iOS 18, iPadOS18, macOS15 and tvOS will be announced in the event.
