Apple today announced the release of its latest Mac Mini, powered by the revolutionary M4 and M4 Pro chips. The new Mac Mini is not only more powerful but also significantly smaller, making it the most compact desktop Apple has ever created.
Key Features and Specifications:
- Compact Design: The new Mac Mini measures just 5 x 5 inches, making it about the size of an Apple TV. This reduction in size means it can fit almost anywhere, from under your monitor to a small shelf.
- Powerful Performance: The M4 chip offers up to 1.8 times faster CPU performance and 2.2 times faster GPU performance compared to the M1 model.The M4 Pro takes it a step further with even more advanced technologies for demanding tasks.
- Enhanced Connectivity: For the first time, the Mac Mini features front-facing ports, including two USB-C ports and a headphone jack, making it easier to connect peripherals without turning the device around. The back of the Mac Mini includes three Thunderbolt 5 ports, HDMI, and Ethernet.
- Memory and Storage: The base model starts with 16GB of unified memory (upgradable to 32GB) and 256GB of storage (upgradable to 2TB). The M4 Pro model starts with 24GB of memory and 512GB of storage (upgradable to 64GB of memory and 8TB of storage).
- Apple Intelligence: The new Mac Mini is built for Apple Intelligence, a personal intelligence system that enhances productivity while protecting user privacy.
- Environmental Milestone: Apple proudly announces that the new Mac Mini is its first carbon-neutral Mac, with an over 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions across its lifecycle.
Pricing and Availability:
The new Mac Mini starts at $599 (Rs.59,900) for the base model and $1,399(Rs.1,49,900) for the M4 Pro model. Pre-orders are open now, with availability starting on November 8, 2024.
