While users have been patiently waiting for Apple to release iOS 17 public beta to try new features, the company today released iOS 16.6 beta 3 for developers and public beta testers.
Apple released the first beta of his iOS 16.6 in May ending, but now beta of the iOS operating system is out. iOS two previous beta versions didn’t include any major features, but instead had some bug fixes and performance improvements.Expect the same for iOS 16.6 developer beta 3.
One reason iOS 16.6 Beta 3 is just an incremental update with very few changes is Apple’s current focus on the iOS 17 public beta. It’s been two weeks since Apple announced iOS 17 at the World Wide Developer Conference in early June.New iOS update adds NameDrop, new contact card customization, interactive widgets, live stickers and more.
Apple released the iOS 17 developer beta shortly after the event, but since developer betas are usually considered unstable and hosting developer betas for daily driver installs is discouraged. Some are eagerly waiting for Apple to release iOS 17 public beta.
