The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will be available later this year. The handset could also have the monikers Moto Razr 2023 and Moto Razr+. Motorola, now owned by Lenovo, will revive his Razr lineup of foldables in 2020, releasing the first bendable smartphone.
Last year, the company announced the Moto Razr 2022, the successor to this year’s rumored phone. There have been multiple leaks and reports since Lenovo CEO Yuanqing Yang confirmed at his MWC 2023 that the Moto Razr will make a comeback this year with a “much better” smartphone.
The phone has also been spotted on authentication sites. A new leak shows design renderings of the upcoming phone. The 40 Ultra foldable smartphone will have a significantly larger exterior display than its predecessor. 3.5-inch screen even eclipses the external display size of rival devices like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the released Oppo Find N2 Flip.
The image shared shows that the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has no camera island, with two cameras positioned horizontally in the top left corner of the back of the clamshell. The camera has an LED flash panel next to it. Some renders also show a foldable phone with a red hinge.
Thephone is powered by Octa-core’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and is expected to be backed by a 3,640mAh battery unit that supports 33W fast charging. The clamshell handset is expected to run Android 13 and My UX 5 out of the box, and could feature a foldable 6.7-inch OLED Full HD+ interior display with a 144Hz refresh rate. I have.
