Realme planning to launch its 14 Pro series globally at MWC 2025, introducing two models: the Realme 14 Pro and the Realme 14 Pro+. These smartphones showcase innovative features, including a unique cold-sensitive color-changing design and robust specifications.
Design and Display
Both models feature Realme’s pioneering cold-sensitive color-changing technology, developed in collaboration with Nordic industrial design studio Valeur Designers. The Pearl White variant transitions from white to blue when exposed to temperatures below 16°C (61°F), thanks to thermochromic pigments. This effect is temporary and will gradually fade with use.
The Realme 14 Pro+ boasts a 6.83-inch AMOLED curved quad display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Realme 14 Pro features a slightly smaller 6.77-inch AMOLED display with similar specifications. Both screens are equipped with under-display fingerprint sensors.
Performance and Battery
Under the hood, the Realme 14 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, whereas the Realme 14 Pro houses the Dimensity 7300 Energy processor. Both devices come with a substantial 6,000mAh battery, supporting 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, ensuring extended usage and quick recharge times.
Camera System
The Realme 14 Pro+ is equipped with a triple-camera setup, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP periscope lens offering up to 120x digital zoom. The Realme 14 Pro, on the other hand, includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies, the Pro+ offers a 32MP front camera, while the Pro model provides a 16MP front shooter.
Pricing and Availability
In India, the Realme 14 Pro is priced starting at ₹22,999 (approximately $265), while the Realme 14 Pro+ starts at ₹27,566 (approximately $320). The series is now available in India, with plans to expand to more international markets soon.
