Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 14 alongside the Xiaomi 14 Pro in China this October, featuring Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and a robust 4,610mAh battery. Boasting impressive charging capabilities, the device supports 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging. What sets the Xiaomi 14 series apart is the inclusion of Xiaomi’s innovative HyperOS user interface, making it the first phone from the company to feature this technology. Now, there are strong indications that the base model of the Xiaomi 14 will soon make its debut on the global stage, including an anticipated launch in India.
According to a report from 91Mobiles, tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) has suggested that the base Xiaomi 14 is likely to be unveiled globally during the Mobile World Congress 2024, scheduled from February 26 to February 29. The report speculates a potential announcement on February 25, with a simultaneous launch in India.
Earlier, the standard Xiaomi 14 model made an appearance on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with the model number 23127PN0CG. The ‘G’ suffix is believed to signify the global variant corresponding to its Chinese counterpart.
While Indian variants typically include an ‘I’ at the end, the BIS listing strongly hints at an imminent launch in India. Furthermore, the phone was also spotted on the IMDA certification site, labeled as a “5G Mobile Phone with Bluetooth Wi-Fi and NFC” connectivity. The upcoming global and Indian debut of the Xiaomi 14 model is eagerly anticipated by enthusiasts, offering a powerful combination of cutting-edge technology and innovative features.
