Xiaomi has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, in China. These devices are the first globally to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Xiaomi 15 Specifications
- Display: 6.36-inch 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.
- RAM and Storage: Options of 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage.
- Camera: Triple rear camera setup with a 50MP LightHunter 900 primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide camera, and 50MP telephoto lens with 3.2X optical zoom. Front Camera: 32MP selfie camera.
- Battery: 5,400mAh with support for 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
- Operating System: HyperOS 2.0 with Android 15 out of the box.
- Colors: Available in Asakusa Green, Bright Silver Edition, Black, Lilac, and White.

- Display: 6.73-inch 2K micro-curved OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.
- RAM and Storage: Options of 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage.
- Camera: Triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Light Hunter 900 primary sensor, 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and 50MP periscope lens with 5X optical zoom and 10X lossless zoom. Front Camera: 32MP selfie camera.
- Battery: 6,100mAh with support for 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
- Operating System: HyperOS 2.0 with Android 15 out of the box.
- Colors: Available in Bright Silver Edition, Rock Ash, Spruce Green, and White.
Both models come with advanced features such as LTPO support, peak brightness of 3,200 nits, and Xiaomi’s Hyper Core technology for enhanced performance. The Xiaomi 15 series is designed to offer a premium smartphone experience with upgraded cameras, bigger batteries, and a faster chipset compared to its predecessor.
The Xiaomi 15 series is available for purchase in China starting from October 31st. Prices for the Xiaomi 15 start at CNY 4,499 (around Rs 52,000) and go up to CNY 5,499 (around Rs 65,000) for the highest configuration. The Xiaomi 15 Pro starts at CNY 5,299 (around Rs 62,500) and goes up to CNY 6,499 (around Rs 75,000) for the highest configuration.
