Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of its 14 series, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and HyperOS operating system, in India. The Chinese electronics giant teased the release through social media, dropping hints about the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro.
Although not officially confirmed, the teaser suggests a partnership with Leica, hinting at the presence of Leica-tuned cameras in the Xiaomi 14 series for the Indian market. Xiaomi’s previous premium offerings, such as the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13T, featured camera setups co-engineered with Leica.
The rumored Xiaomi 14 Ultra is anticipated to carry Leica Summilux cameras. While the Xiaomi 13 Pro made its way to India with a price tag of Rs. 79,999, the Xiaomi 13 didn’t reach the Indian market despite its global launch.
The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro were initially launched in China with starting prices of CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 50,000) and CNY 4,999 (around Rs. 56,500), respectively. Stay tuned for more updates on Xiaomi’s anticipated India launch.
